In this episode, Colin and Harry talk with Marcia Dawood. Marcia is an investor in many early-stage private companies and funds. In addition to her own investing, she is a Venture Partner with Mindshift Capital and a part of the investment committee for Next Wave Impact Fund.

She is also a member of Golden Seeds, one of the largest angel groups in the US. Mindshift Capital and Golden Seeds focus on investing in women-led companies.

She currently serves on the Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee to the Securities and Exchange Commission. She was the Chair of the Board of the Angel Capital Association (ACA) from 2021 until 2023. She is the founder and host of The Angel Next Door Podcast about why and how people become angel investors.
